TVU – On the night of June 18, an entertainment program to celebrate the 16th anniversary of Tra Vinh University’s establishment, 21 years of the Community College model, as well as welcome the 9th University of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Tra Vinh University took place at Hall D5, Zone 1, Tra Vinh University.
The activity attracted more than 500 TVU students. The program also welcomed more than 200 students from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City – Vinh Long Provincial Branch to join for cultural exchange.
In the opening speech, Ms. Thach Thi Dan, Vice-Rector of TVU reviewed the development process of the University after 16 years of establishment, along with many achievements that the faculties and students have achieved in recent years.
The cultural program brought up diverse and colorful repertoires from TVU faculties, clubs, and units, including many genres of performances between students of the two schools.
On this occasion, Tra Vinh University awarded scholarships sponsored by the Post and Telecommunications Insurance Corporation to 05 typical students with high academic achievements. Each scholarship is worth 3 million VND.
At the same time, as part of an exciting series of activities in June, the entertainment program to celebrate the founding anniversary of the School of Engineering and Technology took place on the evening of the same day at Hall E21,105 attracting a large number of staff and students.
Following the theme of praising the homeland, the University, the teacher-student relationship, and the love of the couple, the contestants deeply portrayed and created a colorful show to contemplate. The program left an emotional impression on the audience.
Do Thanh Y, Secretary of the School of Engineering and Technology said: “We would like to extend our love and best wishes to the teachers and students on the occasion of the establishment of the University.”
The organizers awarded 01 First prize, 01 Second prize, 01 Third prize, and 02 Consolation prizes for the most excellent performances.
