Experiencing and visiting My Phong Leather Shoes LLC

(TVU) – On March 15, 2024, Tra Vinh University coordinated with My Phong Leather Shoes Co., Ltd., to organize a field trip to My Phong Leather Shoes Co., Ltd. at Tan Dai hamlet, Hieu Tu commune, Tieu Can district, Tra Vinh province.

The working group, led by Associate Professor., Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University, included 12 lecturers and 30 students majoring in Economics, Law, Engineering & Technology, and English Studies.

During the program, students met, exchanged information and career orientation at the company office, and visited the factory production model.

Associate Professor., Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice-Rector of the School, thanked My Phong Leather Shoes Co., Ltd. for creating conditions for students to have a practical visit at the factory. The Vice Rector said: “This visit aims at connecting the school, students, and businesses to strengthen the connection between the school’s training process and social needs. It also builds long-term cooperative relationships between the school and businesses, creating opportunities for businesses to introduce and promote their brands.”

Mr. Pham Trong Hien, General Director of My Phong Leather Shoes Co., Ltd., said: “Through the visit, we hope to open up opportunities for practical experience in the working environment and access to the company’s practical production model and corporate culture. The company is ready to create the most favorable conditions for Tra Vinh University students to practice and find job opportunities.”

Mr. Nguyen Truong Hai, Director of Technology and Human Resources, My Phong Leather Shoes Co., Ltd., introduced the formation process, scale, and facilities system of TBS Group in general and My Phong Leather Shoes Co., Ltd. in particular. He also added personnel selection criteria, benefits for employees and interns, work experience, skills, and attitudes that a student needs to be equipped with before leaving school.

Student Nguyen Y My, majoring in Logistics Service Management, expressed: “The Board of Directors and the company staff welcomed us thoughtfully, introduced and answered our questions specifically. In particular, the sincere sharing of the company’s staff helps us self-assess and proactively improve our abilities.”

Doan Pham Nhat Duy, a student in Language University class, shared: “I was very surprised and excited when I first saw the leather shoe production model with my own eyes. The visit helped me have more orientation about my career after graduating from school.

Student Doan Phu Quy, majoring in Electrical Engineering, said: “This visit is an interesting experience, providing me with practical perspectives in the working environment at the company so that I can understand the career I want to pursue to build a study plan, strive for each stage and conquer our dream career.
