Launching the startup supporting network for students in the Mekong Delta region

TVU – The support network in startup initiatives to students in the Mekong Delta region promotes the entrepreneurial spirit and improves the ability to start a successful business.

On March 11, the conference launching student startup supporting network  (3S-Net) in the Mekong Delta region in the period of 2022 – 2024 was co-organized at Tra Vinh University by 17 universities and colleges in the Mekong Delta.

Mr. Lu Phuoc Hiep (on the right), Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for the Implementation of the Startup Support Scheme of Tra Vinh Province, gave flowers to congratulate the Director board of the Student Startup Supporting Network in the Mekong Delta region in the period of 2022 – 2024.

With its slogan of “Connecting – Sharing – Supporting – Giving – Succeeding”,  the 3S-Net was founded to promote the spirit, knowledge, and skills of startups among students as well as alumni. The network also helps to build close relationships between higher education institutions and colleges through their cooperative activities.

Along with the support to students’ startups, the network contributes to the development of its members through maximizing their available resources. The network established a forum for its members to share experiences in implementing startup ideas and carrying out international projects.

The Director board of the 3S-Net

At the conference, the regulations of the 3S-Net were discussed and approved. The conference also elected a president, two vice presidents, and 10 members of the network’s Director board. Besides, its members signed the cooperation agreements.

Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Vice President of Tra Vinh University, was elected to be the President of the 3S-Net in the period of 2022 – 2024.
