On August 27, 2011, the Advisory Council of Tra Vinh University held its first meeting in 2011.
The meeting was attended by invited delegates, delegates from Departments-Boards of Tra Vinh province, members of the Advisory Council, and representatives of departments, faculties and centers of TVU, particularly with the online participation of Prof. Dr. Vo Van Truong- Dean of Physics Faculty of Concordia University, Montreal Quebec, Canada – Director of Canada-Vietnam education network. Mr. Tran Hoan Kim, President of TVU Advisory Council was the chairman of the meeting.
At the meeting, the delegates discussed and agreed a few contents such as Strategic Plan for Developing Tra Vinh University in the period 2010-2015 and Strategic Vision to 2020; Cooperative Training Program (co-op); Regulation and Plan of final 6 months of the Advisory Council. The members said that the Cooperative Training Programs with the participation of industries and enterprises (co-op) needed to deploy at Tra Vinh University.
The members said that the Cooperative Training Programs with the participation of industries and enterprises (co-op) needed to deploy at Tra Vinh University.The participants were also reported by Mr. Le Van Don- vice Rector of TVU about the Proposal of founding Practice Pedagogy School which includes preschool, elementary, secondary school and high school. On this occasion, 03 members of the Advisory Council were awarded commemorative medals for their contribution to the development of Tra Vinh University.After the meeting, Mr. Tran Hoan Kim acknowledged the valuable contribution of the delegates as well as members for the content of the meeting session. He also expressed his deep thanks to all of the delegates attended the meeting.
