TRA VINH, July 16th, 2014 – In the afternoon of July 15th, Dr. Nguyen Van Son, Research Staff Member, IBM at Abany Nanotech University of Albany,CNSE,USA was warmly welcomed by Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, TVU Rector.
Dr. Nguyen Van Son received the acknowledgment for his great contribution from TVU
Dr. Nguyen Van Son is one of overseas Vietnamese who offers great contribution to TVU development.
From 2009 to 2012, Dr. Nguyen Van Son sponsored TVU for its projects such as safe vegetables project and school project for holding seminars on chemistry to students co-operated by IMB company,Vietnam.
Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh said: “Dr. Nguyen Van Son has contributed to TVU remarkably, specially in research, curriculum development and competence development to TVU lecturers and students.”
On this occasion, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Son, on behalf of Prof. Vinh Phat, Dr. Bui Van Dao, Ms. Tran Khanh Tuyet and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Chim, donated scholarships to the students.
Dr. Nguyen Van Son honorably received the acknowledgement of Tra Vinh Provincial People’s Committee for his contribution to the educational development
Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh respectfully acknowledged the kind contribution. He strongly hopes that Vietnam education in general and the provincial education in particular will receive more contributions for its development.
