The delegation members include Mr. Jun Yong Joo, Director of Dtonic Company in South Korea, and Mr. An Young Su, Director of Dtonic Company in Vietnam…
On behalf of the Provincial People’s Committee, Comrade Nguyen Quynh Thien extends a warm welcome and expresses gratitude to Mr. Park Jae Hyun, along with the members of the delegation.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Nguyen Quynh Thien, provides the delegation with information about the province’s characteristics, particularly highlighting the potential and strengths of Tra Vinh. Currently, Tra Vinh has engaged in various investment cooperation activities with South Korea in multiple sectors, including the economy, education, and culture. The signing of cooperation agreements with South Korean partners aims to elevate the fields of high technology, smart technology, scientific advancements, and scientific research to a higher level. These are the priority areas in which Tra Vinh province seeks investment.
Mr. Park Jae Hyun expresses his excitement about the signing of the cooperation agreements with Tra Vinh province, particularly the “K-City Network testing Project” cooperation agreement. He mentions that they will be constructing a “Groundwater Salinity Intrusion Monitoring System in the Mekong River Basin.” This is an issue of great concern to Tra Vinh, and they plan to install IoT sensors in each basin and develop a system to monitor groundwater salinity intrusion based on IoT technology.
This system aims to address the issue of salinity intrusion into groundwater in Tra Vinh. The system utilizes various sensors to monitor the real-time quality and water level of the groundwater. Additionally, it identifies areas at risk of salinity intrusion through forecasting. It is believed that this system will assist the province in managing and protecting groundwater resources based on monitoring results and predictive information.
To ensure the successful implementation of the “K-City Network testing Project,” close cooperation between the governments of South Korea and Vietnam, as well as the residents of Tra Vinh, is essential. We have a plan to expedite the project, ensuring that it adheres to the schedule and meets the expectations of the local community.
