On February 2nd, 2012, TVU officially held the ceremony to give the establishment of Faculty of Medicine public and awarded Prof. Dr. Hoang Khai Lap to be the Dean of this Faculty. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh- Rector of TVU, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Mr. Le Van Don, Mr. Vo Hoang Khai, Ms. Thach Thi Dan- Vice Rectors of TVU, Mr. Tran Hoan Kim- President of TVU Advisory Council and other leaders of TVU offices attended the Ceremony.
At the Ceremony, Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh expressed his deep thank to Prof. Dr. Hoang Khai Lap for his enthusiastic cooperation with TVU and showed his pleasure when TVU is allowed to deliver the Bachelor of medicine program for the development of health officials for Tra Vinh province and some neighboring provinces by the MOET and Tra Vinh People’s Committee.
Prof. Dr. Hoang Khai Lap also stated at the ceremony that for everyone’s health, TVU Faculty of Medicine will strive to get the highest results to reply the expectations of reaching their highest results and to reply the expectations of everyone.
In 2012, with the Decision No. 33/ QĐ-BGDĐT signed on January 5th, 2012 by MOET, TVU will officially have the entrance exam for the two medicine majors: Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Medical Test.
