On May 18, 2012, Tra Vinh University (TVU) held a Conference to summary Pedagogy Practicum, school year 2011-2012 at Campus IV. The conference aimed at assessing the strong and weak points of students during their Pedagogy Practicum in local schools and proposing some solutions for the next Pedagogy Practicum, school year 2012-2013. Mr. Vo Hoang Khai – Vice Rector of TVU attended and gave the speech at the Conference.
This year, the students of pedagogy had their practicum at 38 kindergartens and primary schools in Tra Vinh city, Cang Long and Chau Thanh districts . During their practicum, students had 2,464 periods of class observations and 1,427 periods of practice teaching. The result of evaluation on the students’ practice teaching and field trip activities was very satisfactory with over fifty percent of the students was ranked very good.
In his speech at the Conference, Mr. Vo Hoang Khai pointed out that the success of the Pedagogy Practicum this year was the results of the practical solutions proposed and the close coordination between TVU and Tra Vinh Department of Education as well as the Education Offices, the local schools, the authorities and the related offices.
