On February 4th, 2012, the representative staff Conference, the academic 2011-2012 was held at Campus I. At the Conference, the attendants were reported about the summary of the achievements in the academic 2010-2011 and the plan for the academic 2011-2012, making public the finance was used in 2011, the activities of the people’s inspection board in the academic 2010-2111 and the competing movement and the Regulation of rewarding.
On behalf of the president board of the Conference, Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh- TVU Party Secreatry, Rector of TVU delivered the opening speech. In his speech, he pointed out that in the academic 2010-2011, TVU has built and innovated the management system, expanding fields of training, set up the project of expanding more majors to meet the demands of the community. With the achievements of the past year, in the academic 2011-2012, TVU would continue applying the credit training system, innovating the management, promoting scientific research, having more cooperation with enterprises and improving the quality of training. TVU will operate with the motto “The training plan is the major one which will be implemented priority” and the key activity is tightly controlling the training process aiming at better training and research; it will enhance the management of teaching, deploying co-op model demanding the enterprises’ needs and increasing the rate of graduates having jobs.”
At the Conference, there were many valuable comments on the draft documents focusing on improving the quality of the teaching staff, the quality of training, enhancing the facilities matching with the development of the university in the academic 2011-2012.
The competing movement of the academic 2011-2012 was also launchedat the conference with the motto: Each person must strive to become the samples of self-studying, creativity, solidarity, competition to fulfill the objectives of the university and all TVU staff would focus on gaining the objectives of the academic 2011-2012.
At the Conference, the coordination agreement to operate between the Rector and the Executive Committee of Labor Union was signed and all TVU staff who attended the conference raised their hands to show the agreement on the objectives of the academic 2011-2012.
