(TVU) – On January 11, 2022, the production research team led by Mr. Dang Hoang Vu, the manager of the manufacturing project of the automatic coconut-shelling machine and Dr. Pham Quoc Phong, Director of the Center of Science Research and Production Services (CSP) has handed over the automatic coconut-shelling machine to a coconut processing enterprise in Ben Tre province. This machine is successfully made thanks to a provincial research project.
The machine has been designed as the production expectation of the client with an input capacity of 500 coconuts/hour. Mr. Dang Hoang Vu said: “The machine is manufactured at the mechanical factory of the School of Engineering and Technology. It meets enterprises’ requirements for safety and quality.”
Mr. Phu Xuan Tam, a business owner shared: “As the machine operation is simple and easy, it helps with hiring workers and saving costs.”
Dr. Pham Quoc Phong judged: “The price of the machine is reasonable while it helps enterprises save production time and costs. Therefore, it only takes a short period of time for businesses to recover their investment capital.”
Technology transfer is one of the missions of the university in order to help the community with production effectiveness.
