On May 9th, 2012, Ms. Do Thu Huong – Assistant of Fulbright Program in Vietnam Office had a working day with Tra Vinh University (TVU). Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh- Rector of TVU and other leaders of related offices and faculties welcomed her.
At the meeting, Ms. Do Thu Huong introduced TVU lecturers about the Vietnamese Scholar Program (VSP) for 2013 and the criteria to be chosen. She also explained that VSP is one of the four programs sponsoring Vietnamese lecturers and researchers to do researches or to give lectures at U.S Institutes or Universities for terms of three to nine months. VSP encourages female, ethnic and other candidates from different provinces in Vietnam to apply. Ms. Thu Huong expressed her desire to have more candidates from TVU and hoped that the collaboration between Fulbright Program in Vietnam Office and TVU would be better.
Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh thanked for the visit of Ms. Thu Huong and the attention of Fulbright Program in Vietnam Office to TVU and considered getting the Fulbright Scholarships as an opportunity for TVU to have international integration.
