On May 29, 2012, Tra Vinh University (TVU) was honored to welcome Prof. Dr. John M. Dirkx and group of doctoral students from Michigan State University (MSU), USA to pay a visit to TVU. Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung- Vice Rector of TVU and related staff welcomed the Delegation.
At the reception, Prof. Dr. John M. Dirkx and the group of doctoral students were introduced an overview of formation and development of TVU as well as its activities in training, research and upgrading the qualifications for the teaching staff.
In addition, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung expressed his pleasure to the visit of Prof. Dr. John M. Dirkx and the group of doctoral students from MSU and hoped that TVU would have an opportunity to collaborate with MSU in some fields.
On behalf of the group, Prof. Dr. John M. Dirkx expressed his kind thanks to the warm reception of TVU, and he also showed his willingness to bring more cooperative chances for TVU in the coming time.
