In the afternoon of May 04th, 2012, Tra Vinh University (TVU) was honored to welcome the delegation of University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) led by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong- Rector of UEH to visit TVU. Mr. Le Van Don- Vice Rector of TVU, along with leader representatives of Center of Linkage Training warmly welcomed the valued guests. Mr. Le Van Quang- Vice Director of Organizing Board of Tra Vinh Provincial Committee and representatives of Department of Home Affairs also attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the representatives of two universities discussed to the agreement on the cooperation of the courses of the second Bachelor degree majoring in development economics under the part-time form for the cadres of different Departments and Boards in Tra Vinh. With this program, the learners will be trained in two years by UEH and receive Bachelor degree from UEH but Center of Linkage Training of TVU will be their place of studying.
On this occasion, Mr. Le Van Don-Vice Rector of TVU expressed his pleasure to the policy of the leaders of Tra Vinh province for upgrading the qualification of the human resources of Tra Vinh Province through this training collaboration and he believes that this cooperation will be a bridge to make the relationship between the two universities be more developed.
