Workshop on co-op programs between Tra Vinh University and enterprises

(TVU) – At the end of July, 2018, over 80 enterprises in the province and in the region took part in the workshop on co-op programs between Tra Vinh University (TVU) and enterprises at the university campus. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, TVU Rector attended this important meeting.

Addressing at the workshop, TVU Rector emphasized: “Collaboration in training between Tra Vinh University and its partners brings long-term benefits for stakeholders including enterprises, the university and its students. The co-op training programs help increase employment opportunities for the students. This contributes to the social and economic development of the province and Mekong Delta as well.”

Up to present, Tra Vinh University has developed over 20 co-op programs with more than 300 enterprises in the province and in the region in various fields such as chemistry, agriculture, aquaculture and technology.

Tra Vinh University training programs have been received high appreciation from the enterprises by the internship results of TVU students at the enterprises. This provides qualified human resources to the community.

TVU Vice Rector Vo Hoang Khai highly evaluated the practical results of the workshop and appreciated the great contributions of the enterprises to TVU co-op programs.
