Friendly football match between TVU and SSU students – A bridge for connection and cultural exchange

TVU – On the afternoon of March 25, Tra Vinh University football field hosts a friendly match between TVU students and SSU University – Samar, Philippines students. The football exchange event serves as both a meeting opportunity and a way to strengthen solidarity and friendship between the two universities.

The match atmosphere becomes lively from the start, with enthusiastic cheer from students from both schools. Shouts of encouragement and supportive banners create an exciting playground where players compete and enjoy the spirit of sports. Beyond the exciting football plays, the event brings moments of exchange, connection, and greater understanding of each other’s cultures.

Justine Joe Balbon, an SSU student, shares: “Football is a popular sport in Vietnam, but this is a new experience for us. Through this match, we improve our physical fitness and learn more about the culture and sporting spirit of TVU students.”

After the match, students from both universities exchange greetings, take commemorative photos, and share interesting stories about student life. This activity promotes physical education while contributing to building cooperative and friendly relations between the two institutions.
