TVU – On December 2nd, in Hanoi, the Institute for Creativity and Digital Transformation under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA), in coordination with the Vietnam Automation Association, the Institute of Information Technology – Vietnam National University Hanoi, Báo Sáng Development Joint Stock Company and VTC1 Digital Television Station organized the “Honoring Smart Education Initiatives – SEI Awards” for the first time in 2023.
The event took place within the framework of the first National Forum on Educational Technology and Digital Transformation (EDTECH VIETNAM) in 2023 with conference sessions, exhibitions of education organizations, digital solutions in education and training, and the Honoring of “Smart Education Initiatives – SEI Awards”.
Accordingly, 9 units are recognized as the Educational Environment of the year; 15 units are honored with the Creative Education of the year title; 43 solutions from 41 enterprises are commended as the Educational Influence of the year.

This year, the Scientific Council of the Institute for Creativity and Digital Transformation (VIDTI) proposes 3 award categories to meet the development requirements of schools and product offerings from educational technology enterprises:
The “Educational Environment of the Year” category focuses on criteria emphasizing the application of digital technology in teaching and learning, digital infrastructure to support teaching and learning, infrastructure management based on digital technology, and soft skills criteria regarding teachers’ and staff’s digital capabilities and the school’s administrative activities.
The “Creative Education of the Year” category concentrates on innovation and creativity criteria in teaching and learning through technology and digital transformation applications in instruction, study and education governance. It stresses practical, effective innovation factors underpinned by digital technology across operations to enhance educational institutions’ outcomes and teaching, learning and administration efficacy.
The “Educational Influence of the Year” category revolves around products, services, smart solutions and educational technology centering on harnessing novel technologies of IR4 in solutions, safety and data governance capabilities, as well as measurable effectiveness.
