On December 30, Tra Vinh University and Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank – Ben Tre Branch (Nam A Bank Ben Tre) hold a ceremony to sign a cooperation agreement. The event marks a new development in the cooperative relationship between the university and enterprises, aiming to link training with practice, improve human resource quality, and meet the socio-economic development requirements of the region.
Attending the ceremony from the state management agency is Ms. Bui Thi Ranh, Deputy Director of the Vinh Long Provincial Department of Education and Training. Representing Tra Vinh University are Associate Professor Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice Rector, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Nguyen, Dean of the College of Economics and Law (CEL), Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hung, Vice Dean of the College of Economics and Law, along with leaders of affiliated units, lecturers, and students. From Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank, participants include Ms. Lam Kim Khoi, Deputy General Director of Nam A Bank, Mr. Huynh The Lan, Deputy Director of Nam A Bank Western Region, Mr. Ly Tai Hung, Director of Nam A Bank Ben Tre, Ms. La Thanh Nga, Deputy Director of Nam A Bank Ben Tre and Director of Ba Tri Transaction Office, Mr. Le Hong Thai, Deputy Director of Nam A Bank Ben Tre and Director of Thanh Phu Transaction Office, Mr. Phan Nhu Nhuong, Director of Nam A Bank Binh Dai, along with staff and employees of Nam A Bank Ben Tre.
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University, emphasizes the significance of strengthening cooperation between the university and enterprises in the context of higher education reform. He views this as an important solution to improve training quality, help students develop professional competencies, and adapt to the labor market.
Representing Nam A Bank, Mr. Ly Tai Hung, Director of Nam A Bank Ben Tre, affirms that the bank commits to accompanying Tra Vinh University in training and human resource development, creating conditions for students to access practical experience, thereby contributing to supplying quality human resources for the Mekong Delta region.
On this occasion, Mr. Le Hong Thai, Deputy Director of Nam A Bank Ben Tre and Director of Thanh Phu Transaction Office, introduces the internship program at Nam A Bank. Ms. Bui Thi Kim Chau, Head of the Corporate Customer Department at Nam A Bank Ben Tre, shares about the Happy Education partnership program. Mr. Dang Tan Kha, Chief Representative of OneBank Moc Cay Bac, introduces the OneBank digital transaction model. The organizers also hold networking activities and mini-games to strengthen connections between the enterprise and students.
The cooperation agreement between the two units focuses on key areas such as coordinating training and creating conditions for students to intern and gain practical experience at Nam A Bank, cooperating in recruiting graduates, organizing career counseling and practical experience programs, implementing financial products and services suitable for lecturers and students, while expanding cooperation in scientific research and community service activities.
