TVU – On the afternoon of May 27, Mr. Le Thanh Binh – Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, attended and handed over the Decision to recognize the leaders of Tra Vinh University for the term 2021 – 2025. Accordingly, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh is the Chairman of the School Council, and Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa plays the role of the Rector of Tra Vinh University.
At the ceremony, there are the attendance of Mr. Ngo Truong Giang – Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs, Mr. Pham Van Cuong – Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of Tra Vinh Provincial Party Committee and the TVU Advisory Council, TVU Rector Board, and leaders of TVU units.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Thanh Binh – Vice Chairman of the province, congratulated and highly appreciated the achievements of Tra Vinh University in recent years, recognizing the individual contributions of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh during his time as the role of Rector of TVU. “I highly appreciate and acknowledge the efforts of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh during his tenure as Rector of Tra Vinh University. He has led and managed the university to complete the assigned task successfully. The current development of Tra Vinh University is proof of that” – Mr. Le Thanh Binh said.
Mr. Le Thanh Binh also hoped that Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, Chairman of the School Council, and members of the School Council continue to perform their assigned tasks, specifically: Developing strategies and development plans, joint training plans, scientific and technological activities, international cooperation and policies to ensure the quality of higher education, business cooperation, and perform other tasks as prescribed by law, contributing to affirming the role and position of Tra Vinh University in the education of the country and the international arena, and the educational, economic, cultural and social development of the province.
In addition, Mr. Le Thanh Binh congratulated and expressed his trust in Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa. As the Rector of Tra Vinh University, he would unite with the team to continue promoting the achievements and bringing Tra Vinh University to further development.
The Vice-Chairman of Tra Vinh province hoped that Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa would continue to promote the spirit of internal solidarity, strive, study and approach the work, organize and perform well academic activities. At the same time, he suggested the leaders, managers, and officials of Tra Vinh University promote the spirit of solidarity and closely coordinate with Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa in performing their assigned responsibilities and tasks, helping Tra Vinh University to complete the socio-economic development tasks of Tra Vinh province in 2022 and the following years.
In his new position, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh promised to continue to work with the members of the University Council to develop Tra Vinh University into an advanced university model to meet the expectations of the leaders of the provincial Party Committee and the People’s Committee of Tra Vinh province, together with the school staff, implemented the resolution of the School Council for the term 2021-2025 successfully.
Delivering his speech, the new Rector, Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, thanked the provincial leaders, the University Council, and leaders and officials of the school units for trusting and giving the very important task. With their determination, the new Rector firmly believed in being with the school community and continuing to inherit and promote the achievements that will lead Tra Vinh University to develop further to reach regional and international levels.
